TEAM BUILDING 2019

OMIS born to cook!

Team Building 2019 took place in the beautiful setting of a villa in the hills of Vicenza where the two starred chefs Matteo Grandi and Lorenzo Cogo directed 2 brigades (white and blue) who were challenged without exception, in the preparation of two recipes for 60 people! With excellent results!

The sense of a Team Building is to create harmony and synergy between people working in different departments, starting from different philosophies but can get to understand each other. "Mixing skills and way of working and living is essential to create team spirit". In particular, the idea of the culinary contest, where we work in team and in continuous flow, was chosen to make us understand, in practice, the sense of Lean, which privileges continuous production flow and zero waste.

WHAT COMPANIES ARE LOOKING FOR

We presented our world and our work in the auditorium of Istituto A. Scotton of Bassano del Grappa, explaining which skills (soft and hard) a company look for, when it hires. We attended the meeting with the students telling the story of the company and what are the characteristics SOFT and HARD that we look for in the newly recruited people.

During the first part of the intervention we described the Group and told the evolutionary history of the company, highlighting the characteristics of the people who already work in the organization.

In the second part of the talk we discussed the theme of defining the figures that we look for within the production department OMIS and which are the soft and hard skills that we look for: attention to attitudes related to team work, problem solving and interchangeability.

Participated by an assembly composed of students of different addresses, attentive and interested, from which we have received positive feedback ourselves, in comparison with the other participating companies, in terms of sharing what they are looking for when recruiting.
