All our large capacity cranes are fitted with open barrel hoists produced in-house. These hoists are generously designed, all fitted with strain-gauge load limiting devices and trolleys are CNC machined to ensure precision on the alignment of all mechanisms.
Large capacity cranes can also be manufactured with split joints so that they can be shipped in 40-foot Open Top containers.

The production of gantry cranes, also called Goliath cranes, has been one of the strong points throughout OMIS history. Standard production ranges from 10 ton to 40 ton, and features single and double girder as well as semi-gantry cranes. Cantilever types also come as standard up to 40 ton. Higher capacities gantry cranes are also available.
The main structure of our gantry cranes is manufactured in one of our production lines, with special machines that have been designed by our engineers and built in-house. Thanks to this distinctive technology, we are able to achieve great precision in the alignment of all elements, which ensures smooth operation of the crane and reduces maintenance on the traveling mechanisms.
