Safety and speed: a new crane for the growing company

This is Solmec, which has been producing and innovating wheeled loaders since 1960, having moved from the original manufacture of just a few custom models to mass production, thus acquiring Italian leadership and a place of absolute prominence on the European scene. Greater production demands, greater loading requirements: in parallel with this growth of the Solmec product, the presence of OMIS systems in the plant has also increased in quality and technology. OMIS is a long-standing partner for Solmec, and when a new ultra-modern booth was built for the painting plant, to speed up loading/unloading operations and guarantee greater safety for operators, the installation of a new crane was a necessary step. It is an OMIS gantry crane with a capacity of 5 tonnes, a tailor-made project made real by the close cooperation of the two companies. And above all a great success in terms of performance, safety, reliability. This is a further confirmation of a solid and mature relationship, which will see OMIS alongside Solmec also for the supply of future production units.
