Who has to carry out the quarterly inspection of ropes and chains on lifting gear?

The quarterly inspection of lifting gear is mandatory and the responsibility lies with the owner company. If in-house personnel are qualified to carry out these checks, the responsibility remains with the company. In the case of outsourcing to an external company such as OMIS, the responsibility passes to the latter with the declaration of correct performance.
