What are the differences between parallel, orthogonal and double-reeved drums?

The OMIS open barrel hoist can have a parallel drum if it is positioned parallel to the bridge girders, an orthogonal drum if it is positioned perpendicular to the bridge girders, or a double-reeved drum when it is equipped with two rope winding propellers.
