Case history of the month: bridge crane with master slave

We recently completed the installation at one of our long-standing customers of two overhead cranes equipped with an advanced master/slave operation system. This innovative system allows both overhead cranes to be controlled simultaneously, facilitating the handling of even very large components with the intervention of a single operator. This approach not only simplifies operations, but significantly increases efficiency and precision in handling complex loads.

In addition to the advanced functionality, OMIS bridge cranes are equipped with a radio data transmission kit. The receiving and transmitting equipment, installed directly on the machine, allows continuous communication between the cranes. This innovative system allows operations to be monitored and synchronised, and in the event of faults or failures, the cranes can automatically shut down to prevent accidents and ensure maximum operational safety.

By integrating these advanced technologies, OMIS lifting solutions not only improve operational efficiency, but also offer a high level of safety and reliability, meeting the needs of the most demanding customers.
