OMIS automatic storage unit with a storage capacity of 1500 tonnes

The OMIS automatic storage unit is the ideal solution for storing and handling material of all weights and sizes, making maximum use of the available space, thus reducing the area occupied compared to a conventional warehouse.

In this case the same work process was maintained, but its speed, safety and reliability were increased, with the installation of an automatic overhead crane, combined with a crossing span shuttle for loading/unloading baskets, and the use of lifts to optimise downtime.

This customised configuration comprises 1000 slots for a storage capacity of 1500 tonnes.

The main advantage is increased productivity, with safe and dynamic product management, which, combined with specific software for optimal inventory control, tracks handling.
